How do new parents cope with lack of sleep?

The only sleep new parents get is overnight, so they're usually sleep deprived. It's best to have a wind-down routine and go to bed at the same time every night. You could ask a relative or friend to watch your baby while you nap. If you're on your own, you could have a friend or relative stay with you so you can sleep more.
