There is no point in leaving your baby alone in the house, even when you are just in the garden. It is not worth the risk. Either wake the baby and take him or ask a neighbor to sit with the baby or run the errand for you. The survey respondents all agreed that no errand was more important than the safety of a baby, and if you have to go out, you should take your baby with you as well.
