Can baby sleep in bouncer?

A baby should not sleep in a bouncer. Rockers and bouncers should never be used unsupervised, and they should never be used for sleeping, or as a substitute for a safe sleep space. Bouncers are not safe for sleep. This is because in part: They are inclined (not flat); They are padded or contoured (not firm)

For bouncers, the general recommendation is that your baby has outgrown it once they've reached 20 pounds or can comfortably sit up on their own. At this point, there's the risk that your baby could tip the bouncer over as they sit up or roll over on their own. Baby bouncer seats are most appropriate for babies between the ages of 3 and 6 months. Newborns can enjoy them for short periods, but are still too young for most of the features and may be too small to be safely secured in the seat.
