Do babies remember thing, scenes or places?

Your baby's brain development is a complex process that continues throughout your pregnancy. By 10 months, babies remember several things, suggesting that their short-term memory develops extremely rapidly in the first year of life. In general, we have discovered that although short-term memory emerges early in life, it rapidly develops between 4 and 10 months of age. Infant brains appear to distinguish between faces and natural scenes. The regions of the infant brain that respond to faces or scenes, respectively, match those of adult brains. The work reveals that at 4 to 6 months of age, the infant brain is already organized in a similar way to an adult brain.
