According to the National Sleep Foundation, it is recommended that babies of this age range sleep for approximately 12-16 hours per day. This includes a longer period of uninterrupted sleep during the night and at least two naps throughout the day. On average, babies at this stage tend to have about 3-4 hours of daytime sleep. By the time they reach 6 months, most babies are capable of sleeping for 9 hours or more during the night, with occasional brief awakenings.
Baby Tips: Ensure the diaper fits well around the waist and thighs by running your fingers along the edges. Check for any gaps and make sure it's comfortable. If you prefer a looser fit, keep in mind it might lead to leaks because of those gaps.
